MVI News talked to Papa Bear about headlining and creating a show that’s closed to his heart. He explained that the goal behind Jazz 4 Fun was to prove that there is no age limit for a performer as long as an artist enjoys and gives all his heart and soul to entertain his audience.

“I don’t want to be a superstar… I just want to be recognized as a performer. The show was for the successful Filipinos in Canada most especially caregivers, home support workers and everybody.  I just wanted to promote and let the Filipino Canadian artists shine. So many times we had performed in many fundraising events with the hope of showcasing ourselves. I think it’s about time that we have to be fairly recognized and eventually be compensated for our hard work.”
