The first Paskong Pinoy @ the Pier 2016 takes place on Sunday, December 4th, opens at 10AM at the Shipbuilder’s Square in North Vancouver. The Filipino Canadian Christmas gifts and food fair is a festival that showcases the traditional Filipino way of celebrating Christmas to everyone. Traditional specialty food, delicacies, X’mas carols and musical presentations, gifts, and merchandise. A grand prize for a big raffle draw to win two round trip tickets to New York plus tablet computers, lots of groceries, and much more.

“Christmas is the one event closest to the heart of every Filipino family. For each, it is a season of hope, a time for reunification and reconciliation, a reflection of blessings received for the year, and more importantly, a renewal of faith commemorating the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! That said, no one feels loved, at no other time, even more and celebrates Christmas like the Filipino way! Ito ang Paskong Pinoy!” said Kuya Alvin Relleve, president of Barangay North Van and organizer of Paskong Pinoy @ the Pier.
