Like last year’s event, the 2016 Wall Of Stars Awards Night was another spectacular project that brought together people from as far as Alberta to celebrate talent, recognition and inspiration. This year’s Awards Night, however, saw an increased number of sponsors and an even bigger media support coming from Vancouver Sun’s Mr. Malcolm Parry and MetroLivingZine’s Angela Krewenchuk who, along with major event partner Lisa Wartur of Noodlehead Productions and longtime media friend and supporter MetroVan Independent News, have contributed immensely to  promoting the event before, during and after the show.
Held at The Rio Theatre on August 26, 2016, the show recognized winners in the following recognition categories: Most Popular (eveRIAthing) Episode Fans’ Choice: Angel Berry; Most Popular Episode Judges’ Choice Jase Nelson; Fave Workshop Episode Fans’ Choice Peter Bundic; and Fave Workshop Episode Judges’ Choice Janette Bundic. The Most Inspiring Story Awardees were Patrick Rmeily (Empowering Others, Creating Awareness and Building A Legacy); Tetyana Golota (Empowering Others and Building A Legacy); and Joyelle Brandt (Rising Above One’s  Struggles). A special honorable mention was given to awardee Aiden Cumming-Teicher for coming very close to the top winners (Creating Awareness).  Per tradition, this year saw an addition to eveRIAthing’s Wall Of Fame: Maia Costea who received the Brightest Star Award. Finally, winners of Season 2 of The Star Experience were Ruby Bruce (First Place), Nielhson Galapate (Second Place) and Maddy Van Strien (Third Place).
An amazing lineup of special performers provided the entertainment: Queen Bz (with their jaw-dropping hip hop number), Kaitlin Cheung (with her beautiful lyrical dance performances); Academy Angels of the Academy of Cheer Excellence (with their eye-popping cheerleading maneuvres); singers Tessa Mozourakis, Madison Bell, Kathleen Munro, Richard Tichelman and eveRIAthing main host  Ria Jade.
Sharing very important messages at the event were speakers Lisa Wartur of Noodlehead Productions (Welcome Address), Carol Todd of the Amanda Todd Legacy Society and Ali Berman of TeenFest Canada  (Inspirational Speakers) and Ria. The entire Wall of Stars will be featured on the show in successive episodes.
This year’s Wall Of Stars successfully ended eveRIAthing’s third season and as the show ushers in Season 4, we can expect a number of changes which are in line with the program’s goals to provide a platform for talent recognition. Past episodes have introduced the ‘eveRIAteam of hosts’ and we will be expecting to see more of them in the coming months.  A major focus for Season 4 is for eveRIAthing to increase its online presence. To achieve this, the show will allow stories from across the world to be featured and hosts from outside of Canada to show their knack for talking! Last season,  eveRIAthing proudly introduced their very first host and contributor from the USA,  Athena Lentz, from Florida, USA.  This wider platform makes the program more accessible to more people allowing its messages to be further spread especially in the line of youth mental health and empowerment.
Locally, the show airs on SHAW Multicultural Channel 116 at 9:30 am, and re-airs at 8:30 pm.  For more of eveRIAthing, please visit www.everiathing.com. For more of its host, Ria Jade, visitwww.riajade.com.
